Description

Job Broker

We are expanding our Information, Advice and Guidance services for young people in London with our ‘Spark Change’ programme.

The Job Broker will be responsible for winning, developing, and retaining employer partnerships to support the contractual requirements of the Spark Change project.  This will include sales and business development activities to create and maintain a pipeline of new vacancies and placement opportunities.

Additionally, the Job Broker will help match participants to vacancies based on skill set and job goals, working collaboratively with the Account Management team to access available vacancies. 

The Job Broker will be engaging, sales-driven, empathetic and motivational to foster an engaged working relationship with participants, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

Essential:

You will have:

  • A proven record in engaging with stakeholders
  • The ability to identify individual participant’s motivators and goals to source appropriate vacancies
  • Strong track record in achieving individual and team performance targets
  • An understanding of the local and regional labour market and employment issues
  • Effective negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Ability to multitask and work at pace

Location:

Hybrid working with a mix of office, home and community working. Our service will cover the London Boroughs of Bexley, Brent, Hackney, Harrow, and Havering.
