Talent Acquisition Advisor – Somerset
Full-time | 40 hours per week | Travel required
At Homes2inspire, we believe every child deserves a safe, supportive environment to thrive. To achieve this, we need exceptional people - and that’s where you come in.
As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you’ll play a vital role in attracting and securing high-quality candidates for our children’s homes across Somerset as part of the Homes & Horizons partnership. Working closely with Home Managers and the People Team, you’ll design and deliver recruitment strategies that balance speed, compliance, and candidate experience.
About Us:
Homes2Inspire is part of Shaw Trust, one of the UK’s largest charities and a leading not-for-profit provider of public services. Putting children and young people at the centre of everything we do has driven our growth from opening our first home in Northamptonshire in 2007 to becoming the UK’s largest charitably owned residential children’s home provider. Today, we operate nearly 60 homes, two supported accommodation developments, and deliver high-needs foster care through Fostering2Inspire and Homes & Horizons.
Homes & Horizons In 2022, Somerset Council entered a strategic partnership with Homes2Inspire and Shaw Trust to create Homes & Horizons - an innovative model of care designed for children and young people with complex needs. The partnership delivers:
- 11 residential homes (8 currently operational)
- High-needs foster care for approximately 20 children
- An associated therapeutic education service
This wraparound approach integrates care, education, and NHS support to prevent placement breakdowns and reduce the need for Tier 4 CAMHS inpatient provision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement localised recruitment strategies
- Analyse labour market trends to inform campaigns
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, and networking
- Facilitate interviews and selection processes in line with safer recruitment principles
- Monitor compliance and ensure smooth onboarding
- Report on recruitment metrics and drive continuous improvement
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in end-to-end recruitment, ideally within social care or regulated settings
- Strong knowledge of safer recruitment standards
- Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills
- Proficiency with ATS, job boards, and digital recruitment tools
- Commitment to safeguarding and improving outcomes for children
What we offer:
- Competitive salary and benefits
- Ongoing training and development
- A supportive team environment
- The chance to make a real impact on children’s lives
If you’re proactive, resilient, and passionate about people, we’d love to hear from you.
At Homes2Inspire, we're dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace. We actively encourage applications from Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic, and welcome applications from all sections of the community including from people with lived experience and/or knowledge of disability or social exclusion.
