Purpose

As part of the Procurement, Contracting and Supply Chain Team, the Senior Indirect Supply Chain Manager leads the Indirect Supply Chain Manager team and is accountable for the contract management lifecycle for Shaw Trust’s indirect contracts. Working closely with the Procurement Team, Legal Team, Operational and Central Services budget owners and other key internal stakeholders, the postholder is responsible for delivering effective Supply Chain relationship management that is optimised to drive benefits across the indirect Supply Chain.

Essential:

You will have:

  • Educated to degree level and/or significant experience within a relevant field
  • CIPS Level 4 qualification (or working towards), and/or full MCIPS membership
  • Demonstrable evidence of Continuing Professional Development
  • Confident with MS Office/collaboration packages, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of distinct procurement categorisation and principles of segmentation
  • Previous experience successfully delivering in a customer focused business, securing value for money and a high level of customer and stakeholder satisfaction
