Description

“Shaw Trust promotes team spirit, inclusiveness and it is an organisation where everybody is somebody. I am proud to be part of this great organisation.”

At Shaw Trust we believe everyone has the right to live a decent and dignified life and an opportunity for rewarding work. We are a social purpose organisation challenging inequality and breaking down barriers to enable social mobility.

For us being part of the solution is about creating the conditions for this to happen, advocating and delivering services that make a real difference. Working in partnership not competition, we are part of an eco-system of purpose-led organisations, striving for a fairer, more equal society centred on opportunity for all.

Are you passionate about creating positive change and supporting communities? Join our administrative team and work alongside our dedicated operational teams to drive the success of the WLA programme.

Purpose

You will be at the heart of the WLA programme, acting as the first point of contact for participants while providing vital administrative and operational support to ensure the service runs smoothly. You'll coordinate referrals, organise stakeholder visits and events, and work closely with colleagues to share ideas and drive continuous improvement. Using your strong analytical skills, you'll collect, manage and report on performance data, produce insightful management information, and support quality assurance through audits, monitoring and monthly checks. You'll also play a key role in developing processes, maintaining guidance for staff, training new colleagues on CRM systems, supporting delivery teams to maximise performance, processing monthly claims, and helping to create a customer-focused culture by gathering and reporting on customer feedback. This is an excellent opportunity to make a tangible impact within a purpose-driven organisation while collaborating with passionate teams dedicated to changing lives.

What You’ll Need:

  • Be a champion of change with the ability to balance empathy and a commercial edge.
  • Willingness to learn, collaborate, and support your colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail and a rigorous approach to quality.
  • A passion for contributing to a society where everyone has the opportunity for employment, inclusion, and independence.

Application Task

As part of your supporting statement, please ensure you address the following:

  1. How would you rate your Microsoft Excel skills? Please indicate whether you would describe your ability as Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, or Expert, particularly in relation to creating reports, using formulas, filtering data, and creating pivot tables
  2. Please provide an example of a report you have created using Excel. Include:
    • The purpose of the report.
    • The information or data it contained.
    • How you produced and maintained the report.
    • Who used the report and how it supported decision-making or service delivery.

Applications that do not address these questions within the supporting statement may not be progressed further in the selection process.

Why Join Us?

By joining our team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the WLA programme delivers the best support to its participants while being part of a mission-driven organisation like Shaw Trust.

If you’re ready to make a difference, apply now and be part of our journey to empower communities!
