Salary: £47,000 per annum

We are now seeking an experienced and passionate Learning & Development Manager to join Homes2Inspire on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead our H2I learning and development function, shaping workforce capability and ensuring our teams have the skills, knowledge and qualifications to deliver outstanding care and support to children and young people. 


The Role

As Learning & Development Manager, you will lead the Homes2Inspire Learning & Development team, overseeing learning strategy, leadership development, training compliance, qualifications and workforce development across the division. You will play a key role in supporting organisational growth and creating a culture of continuous learning and improvement. 

You will work closely with operational leaders and stakeholders to ensure learning programmes meet business needs while maintaining compliance with regulatory and organisational requirements. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the Homes2Inspire Learning & Development strategy.

  • Lead workforce capability planning, succession planning and talent development initiatives.

  • Design and deliver leadership and management development programmes.

  • Oversee mandatory training, qualifications and competency requirements across the division.

  • Ensure robust compliance reporting and governance relating to learning and development.

  • Manage and develop the Homes2Inspire Learning & Development team.

  • Lead the continuous improvement of learning delivery, including digital and face-to-face solutions.

  • Build strong relationships with operational, quality and people teams to support workforce development.

  • Manage relationships with external learning providers and awarding organisations. 


About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about developing people and improving outcomes for children and young people.

Essential:

  • Significant experience in a Learning & Development leadership or management role
  • Experience developing and delivering learning and development strategies
  • Experience within children's residential care, social care, education or healthcare settings
  • Strong coaching, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across Homes2Inspire locations
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality and continuous improvement

Desirable:

  • CIPD Level 5 in Learning & Development (or equivalent)
  • Assessor qualification (A1/CAVA or equivalent)
  • Experience managing qualification frameworks and leadership development programmes
