Purpose

As a Business Skills Teaching Assessor, you will support apprentices to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to succeed in their careers while achieving nationally recognised qualifications. Working closely with learners and employers, you will deliver high-quality teaching, coaching and assessment across a range of business and leadership apprenticeship programmes, helping learners progress, achieve their goals and maximise their potential.

You will be responsible for delivering and assessing Business Administration Level 3, Team Leader Level 3 and Operational Manager Level 5 Apprenticeship Standards, ensuring learners receive an engaging, supportive and compliant learning experience. Through a combination of face-to-face, remote and group learning sessions, you will provide tailored support that meets the needs of both learners and employers while maintaining the standards required by awarding bodies and End Point Assessment Organisations.

The role requires a strong understanding of business administration and management, alongside the ability to deliver effective teaching, coaching and assessment. You will monitor learner progress, provide constructive feedback and support the development of Maths and English skills where required, ensuring learners are equipped to achieve their qualifications within agreed timescales.

You will also be committed to creating an inclusive learning environment, embedding best practice in line with the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework to ensure all learners, including those who are disadvantaged, have SEND requirements or require additional support, can fully engage with and benefit from their apprenticeship programme.

This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about developing people, building positive relationships with employers and learners, and helping individuals achieve meaningful career progression through high-quality apprenticeship training. As a peripatetic role, travel will be required, with delivery taking place across a geographically assigned area based on your sector expertise.

Location:

This is a peripatetic role that will be home based with some requirements to travel to deliver teaching and learning face to face to apprentices.
