Purpose

We need a IPS Data and Claims Officer to work alongside the IPS Service Manager to support the delivery of one of the Shaw Trust Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Services.

The aim of the service overall is to contribute to the Shaw Trust vision of a society in which everyone has the opportunity for employment, inclusion and independence.

To stand-out you need to champion and embrace change, balance the empathy of a charitable heart with a commercial edge, and be willing to learn and collaborate with others. Your eye for detail and rigorous approach to quality will be crucial in ensuring that the IPS service offers the very best support to its clients and that we successfully implement each element of the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model.

  • Primary focus on delivering the required improvements to operational delivery processes and systems in order to ensure full compliance with the Trust’s contractual obligations.
  • Secondary focus on optimising the collection and dissemination of management information and service delivery across the organisation.
  • Thirdly the coordination of required data for wider stakeholders and commissioners, including coordinating all expressions of interest through the DWP PRAP system in a timely and efficient manner.

Essential:

You will have:

  • NVQ.SVQ Level 2 or above OR equivalent experience.(E)
  • Attention to detail a must.
  • Excellent IT skills with ability to use Microsoft Office and databases (E)
  • Training and experience in creating stakeholder and commissioner reports (E)
  • Experience in document Control
  • Experience in meeting deadlines and objectives when managing conflicting demands (E)

Location:

Home based with occasional travel for training, team meetings etc in Kent & Medway.
