📍 Pleasley, Nottinghamshire
💰 £27,619.00 - £28,650.00 Per Annum
📅 Full-time, Permanent

We’re opening a new 4-bed trauma-informed children’s home in Pleasley – and we are looking for dedicated Waking Nights Youth Support Workers to join our team. At Homes2Inspire, you’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing environment where young lives can thrive. Reporting to Senior Support Workers, you’ll play a vital role by working closely with young people - providing support and attending to their practical, physical, and emotional needs, while ensuring safety throughout the night.

About Homes2Inspire

Since 2007, Homes2Inspire (part of Shaw Trust) has grown to over 55 homes, supported accommodation, and high-needs foster care. We’re proud to be the UK’s largest charity-owned provider of residential children’s homes, with 92% rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted. Our mission is simple: every child deserves the best possible start in life.

The Role
As a Waking Nights Support Worker, you’ll be a steady presence through the quiet hours, ensuring safety, stability, and reassurance for children who have experienced trauma. Working as part of a close-knit team, your role will be hands-on and emotionally intelligent - providing practical, physical, and emotional support while maintaining a calm, secure environment throughout the night. This is a role that demands empathy, professionalism, and reflective practice, as you’ll be safeguarding young people during their most vulnerable hours.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Creating a safe and secure environment that supports the wellbeing of young people.
  • Building trust and positive relationships, acting as a consistent role model.
  • Supporting and guiding behaviour to help young people maintain positive routines and outcomes.
