Location: Supporting across 2 of our children's homes in Cheddar and Burtle.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated individual, to join us as an Administrator, to support with the administration tasks for Residential Children's Homes across Cheddar and Burtle.
About the partnership
Homes2inspire Limited, Somerset NHS Foundation Trust and Somerset County Council have formed a unique partnership to offer homes and support for children and young people within Somerset who have experienced significant trauma and difficulties in their lives. We are creating a different sort of home and care for children and young people which offers them flexibility and support from a full range of people that can help them. These homes are part of a wider service we are developing together including, more children’s homes, high needs foster carers, CAMHS (Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services) intensive treatment houses and therapeutic education. Homes2inspire is a leading provider of Children’s Homes with over 50 homes across the UK. Our teams strive for excellence for our children.
The partnership is also able to offer wider support and clinical supervision with mental health and social work practitioners. Key Purpose of Post
This role is unlike that of any other Administrator, in our Children’s Homes we can guarantee each day will be different and be far from the peaceful office environment you may be used to, however don’t let this put you off as you will be working with a dedicated team who thrive on the challenge of supporting the children and young people with their daily needs.
As an administrator your position is critical in the smooth running of the home and supporting the management team in delivering day to day administrative tasks including:
- To ensure all administration task are completed on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
- To be responsible of the allocation of petty-cash systems within the home to ensure effective finance management processes
- To ensure appropriate record keeping and filing of confidential and critical documentation.
- To work directly to the registered home manager
You will have previous administration experience and have the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook email.
