From Our Children!:

Oh hey, you found us! We’re getting ready to open our new little home in Ilminster - it’s only two bedrooms, so it’s cosy, calm and just right for someone like us who need a safe space to grow, laugh and learn. The adults say we need a special kind of grown-up to be the big boss of the house...a Registered Manager who’s not just in charge, but also really kind, patient and knows how to help kids like us feel seen, heard and supported. I hope you like snacks on the sofa, doing fun activities, and silly jokes because this house won’t just be bricks and walls, it’s going to be our home. Maybe you’re the one who can help make it amazing? We'll need you to stick by us on our good days and our not-so-good ones too. Someone who reminds us of my strengths, helps us with homework (even when we don’t feel like doing it), and makes the best Sunday roasts - even if it’s a Tuesday.

Role Overview:

Job Title: Registered Children's Home Manager

Salary: up to £52,000 per annum + £10,000 performance related bonus

Location: Ilminster, Somerset

Based in Ilminster, you will serve as an inspirational role model for our young children and a person-centred leader dedicated to training, developing, and progressing your team. This role promises significant scope for growth and advancement within our innovative and forward-thinking service.

About the Partnership:

This new home is part of a broader service development that includes additional children’s homes, high needs foster carers, CAMHS (Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services) and therapeutic education. Homes2Inspire operates over 50homes across the UK, consistently striving for excellence in residential childcare.

By joining this partnership, you will benefit from wider support and clinical supervision with mental health and social work practitioners, and be part of a multidisciplinary professional team that fosters best practice. Together, we aim to create inspirational futures for children and young people.

What We Offer:
