Purpose
We are looking for an IT Service Desk Manager to lead our IT Service Desk, ensuring that SLAs are met, customer satisfaction remains high, and the service desk operates efficiently. The successful candidate will bring ideas and energy to help shape the IT support structure, centring customer service within the practices and processes of the desk, matching and supporting the ambitious and fast paced culture of the Technology Directorate.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing IT service desk operations with experience of building and growing in customer-focused environments. You will be a positive, inspiring & credible leader who thrives on energising & empowering people, with a service-oriented mindset. A natural communicator with the ability to connect, inspire, and clearly articulate ideas, whether in writing or face-to-face. We’re looking for someone who is organised, adaptable, and ready to tackle challenges in a fast-changing technical environment.
Must have extensive reporting experience, in particular PowerBI experience.
This is a fixed-term role for 6 months to cover a secondment
