Role: Children’s Home Manager (Learning Difficulties with Behaviours that Communicate)

Location: Northampton North, Northamptonshire

Salary: Up to £54,489 per annum plus up to £10,000 bonus per annum.

Homes2Inspire are working in partnership with Northamptonshire Children’s Trust and North Northamptonshire Council to create a home for a young person with learning difficulties and associated complex presentation.

Homes2Inspire are one of the countries top providers of Children’s homes and strive to provide excellent care to ensure that our young people and children are prepared for the next stages of life.

We currently care for over 150 children in 53 homes and 2 leaving care facilities across the Midlands, Oxfordshire and Somerset.

Overview:

We have an excellent and exciting opportunity to work with the right candidate in managing the transition of a young person with complex needs from a home into their forever home. This will be an opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary team from Homes2Inspire, Northamptonshire Children’s Trust, North Northamptonshire Council and the NHS. You will have the opportunity to mobilise their home and register it with both CQC and Ofsted.

What you'll bring:

· QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management or Registered Nurse for people with Learning Difficulties.

· 5 years’ experience of working with young people with learning difficulties and behaviours that communicate.

· At least 2 years in a supervisory position.

· Proven track record with Ofsted/CQC.

· Thorough understanding of the Regulations and Legislations which set the standards within a Children’s home setting.
