Purpose

The purpose of the role is to design, deliver and evaluate learning and development interventions to Shaw Trust colleagues delivering Individual Placement and Support services. This role is a crucial part of our strategy to be the best IPS service in the country. You will need to ensure we are offering recurring, valuable training that aligns with our learning both internally within Shaw Trust and also externally in the wider IPS community. Your style of delivery will cater to various learning methods including visual, auditory, reading/writing and kinaesthetic. The post holder will possess the ability to take relevant subject matter content and turn it into easily digestible trainings for staff. You will be self-motivated to meet the needs of your learners and work closely with senior and local management to ensure your content aligns with both parties desired outcomes.

Essential:

You will have:

  • Recognised training qualification (i.e. CIPD, PTTLS etc.) or willingness to work towards
  • Experience of designing, delivering and facilitating group training sessions in person and remotely
  • Good track record of delivering successful learning and development initiatives in a complex and diverse organisation
  • IT skills and able to maximise resources to enhance learning experiences

Location:

You will be homebased but must be willing to travel nationwide which may include overnight stays.
