Purpose

This role is at the heart of developing, measuring and reporting our impact. Working with our Chief Impact Officer, the post holder will lead the design and implementation of Shaw Trust’s impact measurement and reporting across the Trust. This exciting new role has a strong focus on delivering against the UK Government’s focus on social value, working closely with operational and data colleagues to evolve Shaw Trust’s impact and social value measurement approach, support colleagues to capture data, and lead on impact reporting as part of our social value statements to our commissioners and annual impact reporting to the Board, Charity Commission and the broader public.

In addition, the post holder will advise and support the development and oversight of evaluations for the Foundation’s projects, ensuring that they contribute to Shaw Trusts’ overarching impact reporting. The role will involve driving an effective culture shift and focus on measuring impact by developing key relationships and influencing at all levels, enabling Shaw Trust to deliver and demonstrate its commitment to social value generation.

Essential:

You will have:

  • Educated to degree level and/or significant experience within a relevant field
  • Experience working in evaluation or impact investing
  • Experience of designing, measuring and reporting on impact and social value
