Purpose
Working within the Assurance, Standards and Technology Services in collaboration with operational
colleagues to provide assurance to ensure compliance contractual obligations and
continuous improvement across a broad range of services, education, and training
provision within Shaw Trust. Meeting and exceeding expectations in line with the
Shaw Trust Strategic Directive 2030.
As an Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for conducting assurance audits to provide assurance to the Audit and Risk Committee and to enable the Senior Leadership Team to fulfil its oversight responsibilities for the Shaw Trust Group. We will evaluate whether control and governance processes and systems are appropriately designed and deployed as intended to manage key risks, meet the requirement of our commissioners, regulators, legislation, and external accreditation's.
Essential:
You will have:
- Demonstrable success in conducting Assurance reviews to achieve and
exceed contractual and organisational objectives
- Knowledge of audit, Assurance practices and continuous improvement
practices.
- IIA Diploma or equivalent audit qualification / ISO27001, ISO14001, ISO
45001 or ISO9001 Lead Auditor qualified or willingness to work towards the
qualification.
- Proven skills and success in developing effective relationships with a range
of stakeholders
