Job role: Youth Intervention Coordinator

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire (NN1)

Salary: £25,095 - £25,432 per annum plus £1,400 per annum attendance bonus

Hours: Core hours are between 8am and 8pm Mon - Fri and between 8am and 2pm on Saturdays. Staff will work 40hrs on 8 hr shifts and usually do one Saturday per month. There may be times when it is required to work outside the hours to support the young people and needs of the business.

Homes2Inspire specialise in working with young people and families, and have comprehensive experience in providing specialist, welfare and educational-based support, interventions and guidance to children and young people in various settings.

Belinda Ferrison House offers Care-leavers from the ages of 17-25 years, the support and guidance to enable a successful transition into independent living with the care and encouragement of a dedicated staffing team. This staffing team within Belinda Ferrison House assesses the needs of the young people and assists them with the skills required to live independently, including managing finances, building relationships, and domestic skills.

What you’ll bring:

  • An enthusiasm to work for a top ten residential children’s homes provider, Homes2Inspire, which is part of one of the UK’s largest charities, Shaw Trust!
  • A willingness to work towards or current qualification in QCF level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • A full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
  • As a residential provision this is a 52 week/24-hour service. You will be required to work flexibly to suit the needs of the young people. The hours of work will fall between 8am-8pm on Monday to Friday and 9am-2pm on Saturday. Flexibility will be required on occasion to meet the needs of the service and young people in our care.
