Purpose

You will work with people with a  mental health condition which impacts their ability to gain or sustain work. You will manage a caseload of between 20-25 individuals to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. You will deliver the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) approach (for which training will be given); providing person centred advice and guidance to individuals, whilst building positive relationships with local employers and stakeholders to enable individuals to move into suitable employment. Embedded within Secondary care settings across CMHT sites, Community Health Teams and working closely with our community stakeholder partners you will support participants on their recovery journey towards better health and wellbeing. 

Essential:

You will have:

  • IPS delivery experience (preferably in a Secondary care setting)
  • Proven experience of supporting people to obtain or keep work 
  • Proven experience of meeting and exceeding outcomes and targets

Location:

You will be working across South West Kent.  Teams will be assigned and you will be required to cover based on service need across location- Please note this is not a home working position. IPS Employment Specialists are required to spend 65% of their time working in person in the community and embed in their clinical team site this role is minimal home working.
