We're recruiting now for a Registered Children's Home Manager in our Desborough home!

Salary: £55,639.00 - £58,032.00 (inclusive of £10,000 bonus per annum)

Our home opened in 2018, registered to provide care for looked after children with Emotional, Behavioural Difficulties aged between 12yrs – 18yrs of age of mixed gender. The home is a 5 bedroom detached property situated in Desborough, nearby to Rothwell and Kettering. Lansdowne House is rated as an Outstanding home by Ofsted.

The Registered Home Manager's leadership will guide the home forward towards ensuring a secure, safe, and motivating environment for both the children and young people in their care and staffing team, fostering an atmosphere where they can thrive.

What you’ll bring:

  • The right candidate must have a QCF level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience working in a Registered Children’s Home setting in supervisory role.
  • Substantive experience in a Managerial role including supervisory experience.
  • Thorough understanding of the regulations and legislations which set the standards within a Children’s Home setting
  • Proven track record with Ofsted
  • Ability to work closely with Responsible Individual and key individuals within the strategic partnership
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
