Looking to recruit a Level 6, or working towards Level 6, career adviser to support two secondary schools from September 2024 within the Sutton (South West London) area. The assignments will be for approximately 100 days in total e.g. two or three days per week, term time only. If the right candidate is only available for one day per week we’d still like to hear from you as we would consider a job share.

The primary duty will be 1-1 careers advice and guidance but the emphasis on duties may vary dependant on the requirements of the school.

You will have:

  • Hold, as a minimum a Level 6 Diploma in Careers Information or equivalent or be working towards a Level 6 
  • Experience in delivery of careers advice to young people, individually or in groups, ideally in a school setting 
  • A thorough understanding of the Gatsby Benchmarks and their impact on a school’s career programme
