National Career Service Adviser

To provide careers advice and guidance to National Careers Service customers in Kent, using various modes of delivery, and support customers through to job or learning outcomes. 

We are recruiting to: Ashford and Folkestone

Trainee Careers Adviser - Starting at £26223.80 per annum 

Careers Adviser (Level 4 qualified) - Starting at £28408.43 per annum

Careers Adviser (Level 6 qualified) - Starting at £30594.09 per annum 

Essential:

  • Willing to undertake professional training to maintain standards.
  • Qualified - Hold, as a minimum, Level 4 Diploma in Careers Information and Advice, NVQ 4 in Advice & Guidance or equivalent 
  • Trainee - All Trainee Careers Advisers will receive training to gain a Level 3 Award in Information, Advice and Guidance during their initial induction and will then be expected to undertake, and complete within one year, Level 4 Diploma in Careers Information and Advice.
  • High level of competency, effective operation and use of ICT including its wider application e.g. use of social media 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
