Purpose

Are you ready to become a catalyst for positive change in your community? As a Community Connector, your role is to empower individuals to take control of their health and wellbeing by increasing their confidence and community involvement. You'll be the bridge connecting people to a wide range of activities and services that enhance their lives and combat social isolation. This job is about making a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and contributing to the greater good.

This role is fixed term for 12 months.

Essential:

You will have:

  • Minimum of SVQ/NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Experience of facilitating and supporting participants with complex and/or multiple barriers to success in health and social care settings
  • Ability to facilitate, engage, motivate and support participants
  • Understanding of the 5 Ways to Wellbeing and it’s practical application
  • A positive attitude to community connectivity and a strengths and assets based focus to engaging with individuals

Location:

You will be based in the Felixstowe area of Suffolk.
