Purpose

These roles are based in custody, with positions available in HMP Thameside and HMP Wandsworth. You will be working with offenders, supporting them through their journey in custody, and preparing them for release. Please specify in your supporting statement which prison you are applying for. 

Someone who holds prison clearance would be desirable, those without will go through the prison vetting process.

 

Salary

Trainee IAG Adviser starting from £26,145 

Qualified IAG Adviser from £30,444 - £32,739

Essential:

You will have:

  • Level 3 or above IAG or CIAG accreditation (Adviser) 
  • Willing to work towards Level 4 CIAG (Trainee) 
  • Excellent IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office software and previous experience of working with databases

Location:

We have vacancies available in HMP Thameside.

Mon- Thurs 08:00-16:45 and Fri 08:00- 12:30 (37.5 hours per week)
