Job role: Residential Youth Support Worker
Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £27,944 - £29,601 per annum (Inclusive of average sleep-in payments and attendance bonus)

What you’ll bring:
  • An enthusiasm to work for the only charity-owned Ofsted Top 10 provider of residential children’s homes
  • A willingness to work towards or current qualification in QCF level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • A full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
  • Commitment to working a shift pattern including sleep-in duties - 8 x 15hr shifts over 3 week period - no more than 3 shifts per week!

Working in partnership with the local authority, the home will provide child-centered care to young people who need specific support and safeguarding. A working day in a Residential Childcare setting can be unpredictable with varying duties. The role of Residential Youth Support Worker for young people with complex needs can be challenging and will require staff members to work as a team and be confident in responding to and safeguarding the young people in our care.
