Engagement Advisor WHP JETS
The Shaw Trust, in tandem with government and the broader employment support community across the UK is working hard to make sure we support as many individuals as possible to get and keep a job. To help us in this mission we are looking to expand our employability services and looking for Engagement Advisors to work on a DWP Work and Health Programme - Job Entry: Targeted Support (WHP/JETS).
As an Engagement Advisor (WHP JETS) you will be an excellent communicator who will be required to develop and maintain working relationships working directly with Shaw Trust Employment Advisors and Team Leaders to expand engagement opportunities for participants.
The role requires an engaging, empathetic and motivating individual, with the ability to achieve day-to-day KPI performance. The role holder will be expected to manage a caseload of dis-engaged participants, with the aim of increasing the number of participants starting on programme from JCP referral. Liaising with Shaw Trust Employment Advisors and Team Leaders across the Contract Package Area.
This will be mainly delivered remotely via phone, video conference and other digital channels.
The ideal candidate must have an understanding of the local and regional labour market and employment issues within Central England regions of Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Bedfordshire & Buckinghamshire, Staffordshire, Walsall and Wolverhampton, Birmingham and Herefordshire & Worcestershire and able to maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of the benefit system and entitlements.
Shaw Trust operates on a national level with over 2,000 staff and 1,000 volunteers.
