Fostering to Inspire is a small independent fostering agency based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, and is part of the Shaw Trust group. We recruit fostering families from the Yorkshire region and provide high quality foster placements for our neighbouring local authorities. We are a developing agency that runs in accordance with the Mockingbird Family Model.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Fostering Manager to join our small team and help develop our thriving agency further.

As the Registered Manager you will be responsible for leading the strategic development and operational management of the agency principally the foster carer recruitment, assessment work, supervision, training and supporting carers and their children and young people.

You will have excellent management & assessment skills, strong communication, good IT skills and an ability to connect and engage with foster carers, staff members & children and young people.

You will be a qualified social worker, registered with Social Work England. Relevant management experience within an independent fostering agency is essential. You must be committed to safeguarding and promoting the best interests of children and young people.
