Digital Content Manager - WHP JETS

This is an exciting time to join Shaw Trust, to help us in this mission we are looking to expand our employability services within Shaw Trust and looking for Digital Content Manger to join us.

The Shaw Trust, in tandem with government and the broader employment support community across the UK is working hard to make sure we support as many individuals as possible to get and keep a job. Reporting directly to Group Head of Curriculum and Learning. This role will be aimed at supporting the performance of the expanded Work and Health Programme Job Entry: Targeted Support (WHP- JETS).

A newly created role for a Digital Content Manager to join our growing team. We are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable individual to take the lead on digital content development to support the WHP-JETS programme. You will be an expert in digital content writing.

As a Digital Content Manager, you will be responsible for a team of digital content creators creating, improving, and maintaining a range of content to help Shaw Trust group achieve its goals. We are looking for a candidate who possess the ability to think both creatively and analytically to lead a team to achieve the highest quality.

The Digital Content Managers duties include producing and publishing content, writing, editing and proofreading, formulating content strategies and managing a content team, amongst other tasks.

Shaw Trust operates on a national level with over 2,000 staff and 1,000 volunteers. We work with the government, local authorities, combined authorities, health service providers, employers, and other stakeholders – including the Education and Skills Funding Agency, Department for Work and Pensions, clinical commissioning groups and NHS Trusts.

The ideal candidate must have an understanding of the local and regional labour market and employment issues within one of two geographical areas – Central England and Home Counties and able to maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of the benefit system and entitlements.
