Description

Continuous Improvement Director

In these times of uncertainty, we are pleased to offer a fantastic opportunity within Shaw Trust, for a Continuous Improvement Director within Shaw Trust Group.

You will be passionate about our work, committed to achieving impact and quality, an excellent communicator and personally aligned with our values. You will be part of the Senior Leadership Team, and will lead a brand new function focused on bringing forward, delivering and using data, feedback and evidence driven solutions to improve operational delivery, raise quality and compliance standards and drive continuous improvement in an innovative way.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer for all operational quality and compliance activity, ou will work with Operational Directors to implement monitoring and improvement strategies, embed best practice and strategic thinking whilst working with stakeholders and our BTIS team to ensure digital innovation that supports future delivery. You will also develop and co-ordinate the execution of plans to support our organisational objectives to achieving a culture of continuous improvement within the Group.

Shaw Trust operates on a national level with over 2,000 staff and 1,000 volunteers. We work with the government, local authorities, combined authorities, employers, stakeholders – including the Department for Work and Pensions, Department for Education and Education and Skills Funding Agency, clinical commissioning groups and NHS Trusts.

The Person
We need a highly motivated expert in Continuous Improvement with responsibility for developing and leading a new Operational Support Service function within the organisation.

Are you a highly innovate and commercially minded leader with knowledge of the Department for Work and Pensions, Education and Skills landscape in addition to that of other commissioners such as Justice, ESF, Local Authorities etc.

Do you have experience of leading a continuous improvement function, budgets and relationships?
