It will require someone with a depth of experience and knowledge surrounding Corporate Governance, working with Board Directors and managing multiple stakeholders. The role will incorporate delivering a quality company secretarial service and provide guidance to the Shaw Trust Board as to how the Charity governance should be directed and managed, so as to ensure legal and regulatory requirements are met.

The Person

You will be highly organised with excellent time management skills, work well in high pressure environments where being able to prioritise and work effectively is key. You will have experience of supporting a complex organisation in a Governance, legal or finance capacity.

You will be self-motivated and enthusiastic with a proactive mind-set.  Ideally, you will be a chartered governance professional or legally/financially qualified and possess strong minute taking abilities and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
