What we need?

We are looking for a Contract Manager who can oversee the day to day running and overall performance of two high profile contracts, co-funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund and delivering the IPS model of employment (Individual Placement and Support) services to people with common mental health conditions across North, East and South London boroughs.

 

Combining vision and direction with strong relationship building and people management skills, you will take accountability for project performance across our own delivery and that of the three delivery partners. Reporting to our Senior IPS Lead, you will work with project-specific and wider organisational colleagues to:

 

  • maintain and continuously improve performance across internal and external (supply chain) delivery;
  • take accountability for our compliance with ESF requirements, working closely with the project-specific Compliance Officer.
  • oversee stakeholder engagement and delivery staff, ensuring a coherent approach to embedding the project in local communities and maintaining the project’s profile
  • lead our contribution to evaluations of the project and of the wider Building Better Opportunities programme
  • make sure our participants receive the best service to meet their particular needs
  • lead on monitoring, analysis and reporting activities to provide the National Lottery Community Fund and ESF with reassurance that the project is performing to target and to budget
  • Lead on the development with our Tier 4 providers which including 5 Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) teams and 5 GP surgeries.
  • Work with our Community Navigators to develop new relationships in the Health and Social Care settings

 

Working with the Senior IPS Lead, you will be responsible for monitoring and analysing supply chain performance, building service capability, capacity and quality.You also will provide skilful relationship management ensuring positive and productive relationships are maintained.

 

This role is perfect for someone with a background in contract or project management, and with experience in managing staff undertaking diverse roles across a wide geography and with a range of stakeholders. An ability to champion and embrace change is essential, whilst an understanding of the differing needs of clinicians, employability experts and employers in supporting the journey of individuals with mentail health needs into employment would be advantageous..
