Regional Delivery Manager - WLA WHP

The Shaw Trust, in tandem with government and the broader employment support community across the UK is working hard to make sure we support as many individuals as possible to get and keep a job. To help us in this mission we are looking to expand our employability services and looking for Regional Delivery Managers WLA WHP.

The Regional Delivery Manager WLA WHP is responsible for the management and delivery of a DWP funded programme Work and Health Programme within a defined geographical area.

Reporting in to Regional Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing and supporting the Operational Team Leaders.

The Regional Delivery Manager WLA WHP is responsible for the management and delivery of a West London Alliance Work and Health Programme

We need a person with a background in management, budgeting and analysis. Working with key stakeholders, the successful individual would have a proven track record of achieving objectives through strong relationship management. A solution focussed approach, which enables risks and issues to be minimised is ideal, as is the ability to make decisions based on analytical assumptions.

This is a complex and challenging operations role, which requires strong management and contract delivery skills. The post holder has responsibility for the efficient, effective and evidence based delivery of excellent performance in all services measured against contractual requirements.

Shaw Trust operates on a national level with over 2,000 staff and 1,000 volunteers. We work with the government, local authorities, combined authorities, health service providers, employers, and other stakeholders – including the Education and Skills Funding Agency, Department for Work and Pensions, clinical commissioning groups and NHS Trusts.

The ideal candidate must have an understanding of the local and regional labour market and employment issues within the geographical areas and able to maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of the benefit system and entitlements.

Home based role with face-to-face activity post COVID-19

Working across – London geographical areas include: Barnet, Brent Hammersmith & Fulham, Ealing, Hounslow, Harrow and Hillingdon.
