Overtime opportunities available.

At Homes2Inspire, we are passionate about what we do. As one of the country’s top Children’s Home providers, we strive for excellence in the care we provide, ensuring our children and young people are ready for the next stages of life. Housing over 100 children, we have 27 homes across the country and are a provider of choice for local authorities.

We are currently offering fantastic opportunities for passionate individuals to work in a rapidly expanding company who specialise in working with the most incredible children and young people.

Our new home in Mansfield will be designed specifically to support children and young people with moderate learning and physical disabilities. The children and young people may also display behaviour that challenges.

Homes2inspire support the delivery of specifically designed, child centred professional care services which clearly address the needs of each of our children and young people, and therefore, it is desirable for candidates to be able to communicate in British Sign Language or Makaton level 1.

The Right Candidate

The successful applicant will play an imperative role in the home, building positive relationships with the children and young people to ensure they respond and act appropriately to information and instructions. You will also be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for the children and young people to ensure their safety and wellbeing.

Due to the independent nature of this role, you will be expected to prioritise and self-manage your work load to ensure effective completion of tasks and monitoring of the children and young people.

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Are able to communicate in BSL or Makaton level 1
  • Have the passion and drive to improve the lives of children
  • Desire and are willing to learn and develop new skills
  • Are resilient and able to support our children and young people in their most difficult times
  • Are a great role model

A full UK Driving Licence is preferred to support with school runs.

Previous experience within this field would be advantageous, however this is not essential. We welcome applicants that we feel have the right characteristics, aptitude, and life skills to work with our young people.

Please note successful applicants with a QCF Level 3 will enter the business at a higher salary. No QCF Level 3? No Problem! Homes2Inspire will cover the cost of QCF training for all of our current employees.

Career Progression

Due to our rapidly expanding business, career progression is a guarantee for the right candidate. We offer succession planning for our employees and help guide them through their Support Worker role into more senior positions within the company.
