Description

Shaw Trust is a national charity, committed to supporting those with barriers related to disability, health and those in disadvantaged circumstances to find employment, independence and greater inclusion in society.

This is a rewarding role which focuses on the delivery of a high profile contract which is co-funded by Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund, ensuring that a person’s journey into employment is as easy as possible.

Working alongside health professionals, volunteers and service providers, you will support people who have common mental health problems, from their initial assessment, into employment, and for up to nine months after commencement. This may also include manging withdrawal of support if the work period comes to an end.

You will preferably hold the IAG Level 4 qualification, or equivalent, or have experience of working in a mental health/wellbeing setting and be willing to develop your training and knowledge. A practical understanding of the Individual Placement and Support model and primary and secondary care would be beneficial, and you should be highly organised, able to problem solve, and be happy working towards targets.

The Trust offers excellent benefits and development opportunities.
