Careers Adviser
£22,000 - £31,479  Dependant On Experience  

The emphasis on duties may vary depending on the work location and the individual agreements with institutions but relate broadly to the delivery of contracts for the provision of careers information advice and guidance in schools/ colleges / Community Settings.

We are Ideally looking for a Level 6 qualified Careers Adviser but will consider those qualified at Level 4 with recent school/college experience and willing to undertake the Level 6 Careers Guidance Professional Apprenticeship. Essential:

You will have:

  • Experience of working with various partners who support young people both in the voluntary and statutory settings
  • Experience of delivering Careers Information, Advice and Guidance. 
  • Experience of supporting / mentoring young people either in school / community setting 
  • Experience of customer facing roles 
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the requirement of working with young people in a professional capacity. 
  • Ability to use ICT (Minimum requirement is an ability to use Word and follow instructions for the inputting and retrieval of information from a database) 
  • Level 4 qualified Careers Adviser
